UPI Transactions Hit Record 25.47 Bn In October Amid Festive Season

Unified Payments Interface (UPI) transactions surged 5.8% month-on-month to a record 25.47 billion in October, surpassing 25 billion for the first time. The total value of these transactions also reached a new high of ₹31.53 lakh crore, a 7.4% increase from September. This growth, occurring during the festive season, follows a slight dip in the previous month. The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) data also revealed that average daily transaction value crossed ₹1 lakh crore for the first time.

त्योहारी सीजन के बीच, यूनिफाइड पेमेंट्स इंटरफेस (UPI) के लेन-देन में अक्टूबर में महीने-दर-महीने 5.8% की वृद्धि हुई और यह 25.47 अरब तक पहुँच गया, जो पहली बार 25 अरब के आँकड़े को पार कर गया है। इन लेन-देन का कुल मूल्य भी ₹31.53 लाख करोड़ के नए उच्च स्तर पर पहुँच गया, जो सितंबर की तुलना में 7.4% अधिक है। पिछले महीने थोड़ी गिरावट के बाद यह वृद्धि त्योहारी सीजन के दौरान हुई है। नेशनल पेमेंट्स कॉरपोरेशन ऑफ इंडिया (NPCI) के आँकड़ों से यह भी पता चला कि औसत दैनिक लेन-देन मूल्य पहली बार ₹1 लाख करोड़ को पार कर गया।
