Karnataka Govt To Challenge HC SIT Order

The Karnataka government plans to challenge a high court order for a fresh investigation into alleged irregularities in the recruitment of 400 veterinary officers. Officials confirmed a Special Leave Petition will be filed against the September 21 order. The High Court had previously declined CBI probe pleas, instead directing a five-member SIT headed by IPS officer Alok Kumar to investigate.

कर्नाटक सरकार पशु चिकित्सा अधिकारियों की भर्ती में कथित अनियमितताओं की नए सिरे से जांच के हाई कोर्ट के आदेश को चुनौती देगी। अधिकारियों ने पुष्टि की है कि 21 सितंबर के आदेश के खिलाफ स्पेशल लीव पिटीशन (SLP) दायर की जाएगी। इससे पहले हाई कोर्ट ने सीबीआई जांच की याचिकाओं को खारिज कर दिया था और इसके बजाय IPS अधिकारी आलोक कुमार की अध्यक्षता वाली पांच-सदस्यीय SIT को जांच का निर्देश दिया था।
