Greater Noida Bus Fire Kills 9, Driver Flees

A sleeper bus caught fire on the Yamuna Expressway near Greater Noida, resulting in the deaths of nine passengers. The bus, en route from Delhi to Mahoba, erupted in flames around 11 PM. While 20 passengers were rescued, nine succumbed to burns or smoke inhalation. Initial investigations suggest a spark in the AC unit ignited engine lubricant oil, rapidly spreading the fire. The driver and conductor fled the scene but were later arrested.

यमुना एक्सप्रेसवे पर ग्रेटर नोएडा के पास एक स्लीपर बस में आग लग गई, जिससे नौ यात्रियों की मौत हो गई। दिल्ली से महोबा जा रही बस रात करीब 11 बजे धू-धू कर जल उठी। 20 यात्रियों को बचा लिया गया, लेकिन नौ की जलने या धुएं से दम घुटने से मौत हो गई। शुरुआती जांच में एसी यूनिट में चिंगारी से इंजन ऑयल में आग लगी, जो तेजी से फैल गई।
