Police Identify Survivor in POCSO Case Against Veeramani

Chennai Police have identified the survivor in the POCSO Act case against granite businessman R Veeramani. Her statement was recorded and submitted to a Judicial Magistrate. Veeramani, chairman of Gem group, was accused based on a video allegedly showing him abusing a minor. He, along with associates Shanti and Mahendra Simhan, were arrested. Investigators are trying to identify more victims, who were reportedly poor girl children funded by Veeramani.
