Daimler Invests ₹4,000 Crore In Chennai Hub

Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) is investing an additional Rs 4,000 crore in its Chennai production hub, taking its total investment in India to over Rs 14,500 crore. This investment will strengthen R&D and engineering capabilities, supporting future product creation for both domestic and global markets. The Oragadam facility manufactures four global brands and has a capacity of 58,000 trucks and 2,000 buses annually, with exports to over 70 countries.

डेमलर इंडिया कमर्शियल व्हीकल्स (DICV) चेन्नई में अपने प्रोडक्शन हब में 4,000 करोड़ रुपये का और निवेश कर रही है। इससे भारत में उनका कुल निवेश 14,500 करोड़ रुपये से ज़्यादा हो जाएगा। यह पैसा रिसर्च और डेवलपमेंट को मज़बूत करेगा, जिससे नए प्रोडक्ट्स बनेंगे जो भारत और दुनिया भर में बिकेंगे। ओरगाडम प्लांट में चार ग्लोबल ब्रांड्स बनते हैं और यह साल में 58,000 ट्रक और 2,000 बसें बना सकता है।
