Germany Ready For Submarine Deal, Awaiting India's Nod

Germany is prepared to sign a proposed submarine deal with India, with its envoy stating all government agreements are approved. The proposal now awaits Indian clearance, including from the Cabinet Committee on Security. This deal, under Project 75(I), aims to build six advanced conventional submarines in India. Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited will partner with Germany's Thyssenkrupp Marine Systems for construction, with an estimated cost between ₹70,000 to ₹90,000 crore.
