New Zealand fast bowler Will O'Rourke will miss the upcoming home series against India due to ongoing recovery from hamstring and calf injuries. The 25-year-old's exclusion is a precautionary measure to ensure his full fitness for the crucial four-Test tour of Australia in December. O'Rourke had recently returned from a seven-month layoff due to a back stress fracture. Coach Rob Walter stated that the decision was made collaboratively to allow O'Rourke to safely rebuild his bowling loads.
