Solar Industries' shares plummeted nearly 9% to Rs 20,180 on Tuesday following the announcement of its acquisition of South Africa's Omnia Holdings. The deal, valued at approximately $1.355 billion (Rs 12,951 crore), will see Solar SA Investments acquire all outstanding shares of Omnia. This strategic move aims to drive commercial growth, enhance operational efficiencies, and expand market reach, creating one of the largest integrated explosives and blasting solutions platforms globally.

मंगलवार को Solar Industries के शेयर करीब 9% गिरकर ₹20,180 पर आ गए। ऐसा साउथ अफ्रीका की Omnia Holdings को खरीदने की घोषणा के बाद हुआ। यह डील लगभग $1.355 बिलियन (₹12,951 करोड़) की है। इस सौदे से Solar SA Investments, Omnia के सभी शेयर खरीदेगी। इस कदम से कंपनी का व्यापार बढ़ेगा, काम बेहतर होगा और बाज़ार में पहुँच बढ़ेगी, जिससे यह दुनिया के सबसे बड़े विस्फोटक समाधान प्लेटफॉर्म में से एक बन जाएगी।
