तेनकासी के शिक्षक एम. थंगराज ने पुलियाम्पट्टी के पंचायत यूनियन प्राइमरी स्कूल में शिक्षा को नया रूप दिया है। वे बच्चों को शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य और कृषि के मंत्री जैसे पद देकर सशक्त बना रहे हैं, जिससे उनमें ज़िम्मेदारी और सक्रिय भागीदारी की भावना बढ़ रही है। थंगराज रटने की बजाय एक्टिविटी-आधारित सीखने के साथ प्रोजेक्टर और स्मार्ट टीवी जैसे डिजिटल साधनों का भी इस्तेमाल कर रहे हैं। उनके इस नए तरीके को 50 से ज़्यादा दूसरे शिक्षकों के साथ भी साझा किया गया है, जिससे उनका प्रभाव और बढ़ा है। इस तरीके का मकसद बच्चों में आत्मविश्वास और भविष्य की पढ़ाई के लिए ज़रूरी हुनर पैदा करना है।
