Wipro Q2 Profit Dips Marginally Amid Revenue Growth

IT services major Wipro reported a 1.4% year-on-year decline in net profit to Rs 3,201 crore for Q2FY27, while revenue increased 9.1% year-on-year to Rs 24,752.7 crore. The IT services segment revenue saw a marginal 0.3% rise year-on-year. Total bookings declined significantly by 22.9% sequentially. Despite these figures, CEO Srini Pallia highlighted strategic investments and an AI-powered strategy as drivers for future growth, with operating cash flows remaining robust.

आईटी सेवा कंपनी विप्रो ने दूसरी तिमाही (Q2FY27) में 3,201 करोड़ रुपये का शुद्ध लाभ दर्ज किया, जो पिछले साल की इसी अवधि की तुलना में 1.4% कम है। वहीं, कंपनी का राजस्व 9.1% बढ़कर 24,752.7 करोड़ रुपये हो गया। आईटी सेवा खंड का राजस्व पिछले साल की इसी अवधि की तुलना में मामूली 0.3% बढ़ा। कुल बुकिंग में पिछली तिमाही की तुलना में 22.9% की बड़ी गिरावट आई। इन आंकड़ों के बावजूद, सीईओ श्रीनि पल्लिया ने भविष्य के विकास के लिए रणनीतिक निवेश और AI-संचालित रणनीति पर जोर दिया, जबकि ऑपरेटिंग कैश फ्लो मजबूत बना रहा।
