Indian Railways Cancels 28 Trains, Affecting Over 1 Lakh Passengers Ahead of Protests

Indian Railways has announced the cancellation of over 28 trains, including prominent ones like Sampark Kranti and Patna Rajdhani, due to anticipated protests. This decision aims to prevent at least 1 lakh passengers from reaching New Delhi. The majority of cancelled trains originate from Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan. Trains scheduled to arrive in New Delhi and Hazrat Nizamuddin between 4 AM and 2 PM are affected. Railway officials are notifying passengers via bulk messages about the cancellations.

भारतीय रेलवे ने संभावित विरोध प्रदर्शनों के चलते 28 से ज़्यादा ट्रेनों को रद्द करने का ऐलान किया है। इनमें संपक्र क्रांति और पटना राजधानी जैसी प्रमुख ट्रेनें भी शामिल हैं। इस फैसले से 1 लाख से ज़्यादा यात्रियों को नई दिल्ली पहुँचने से रोका जाएगा। रद्द की गई ज़्यादातर ट्रेनें बिहार, उत्तर प्रदेश और राजस्थान से चलने वाली हैं। नई दिल्ली और हज़रत निज़ामुद्दीन आने वाली सुबह 4 बजे से दोपहर 2 बजे तक की ट्रेनें प्रभावित होंगी। रेलवे के अधिकारी यात्रियों को बल्क मैसेज के ज़रिए रद्द होने की सूचना दे रहे हैं।
