Elon Musk has reignited the debate over Starlink's pending India license with an X post addressing 'Prime Minister Ambani' and questioning monopolistic exploitation. He argued that Starlink could provide internet access to underserved areas, improving education and business opportunities, and aid in disaster relief. Telecom Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia rejected claims of monopoly, stating India is technology-agnostic and allows customer choice in a free market. He also noted that three satellite operators have received licenses and will be assigned spectrum once pricing and security conditions are met.
