The British Museum has banned photography of the Bayeux Tapestry to manage crowds at its popular new exhibit. The 1,000-year-old artwork, on an unprecedented loan from France, has seen tickets sell out until December 31. Museum officials stated the photo ban is to ensure all visitors have the best experience and to keep the flow of people moving. Initially, photography was allowed, but this was reversed due to queues forming as visitors lingered too long.
