Hostel Workers Demand Revised Minimum Wages Implementation

Hostel workers in Hubballi have launched a letter campaign demanding the immediate implementation of revised minimum wages. The statutory order for revised wages came into effect on May 22, but workers allege they are still being paid the old rates. They also seek monthly wage payments within the stipulated date, wage slips, and statutory benefits like PF and ESI. The workers warn of further protests if their demands are not met by the government.

हुबली में हॉस्टल कर्मचारियों ने न्यूनतम मजदूरी में संशोधन को तुरंत लागू करने की मांग को लेकर चिट्ठी अभियान शुरू किया है। संशोधित मजदूरी का सरकारी आदेश 22 मई से लागू हो गया है, लेकिन कर्मचारियों का आरोप है कि उन्हें अभी भी पुरानी दर से ही भुगतान किया जा रहा है। वे हर महीने तय तारीख तक वेतन, वेतन पर्ची और पीएफ व ईएसआई जैसे वैधानिक लाभ भी चाहते हैं।
