CJP Leaders Sourav Das & Ashutosh Ranka Kept Separate in Tihar Jail

CJP leaders Sourav Das and Ashutosh Ranka have been lodged in separate jails within Tihar Prison. Das has been sent to Jail Number 2, while Ranka will be housed in Jail Number 4. Both leaders were taken into judicial custody in connection with an attempt to protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. Police alleged they tried to assemble without permission, raising fears of a breach of peace. The leaders have filed bail petitions in the Patiala High Court.

CJP नेता सौरव दास और आशुतोष रंका को तिहाड़ जेल के अंदर अलग-अलग जेलों में रखा गया है। दास को जेल नंबर 2 में भेजा गया है, जबकि रंका को जेल नंबर 4 में रखा जाएगा। दोनों नेताओं को दिल्ली में जंतर मंतर पर विरोध करने की कोशिश के संबंध में न्यायिक हिरासत में लिया गया था। पुलिस ने आरोप लगाया कि उन्होंने शांति भंग होने के डर से बिना अनुमति के इकट्ठा होने की कोशिश की। नेताओं ने पटियाला हाई कोर्ट में जमानत याचिका दायर की है।
