Business Standard · business

India's foreign exchange reserves saw a decline of $2.69 billion, bringing the total to $717.056 billion as of the week ending October 30. This follows a previous decrease of $1.269 billion in the prior week. The reserves had previously reached an all-time high of $785.706 billion in early September. Experts attribute the recent downturn to the deployment of FCNR(B) resources and the Reserve Bank of India's intervention in the currency market through dollar sales.
