A 21-year-old BCA first-year student, Nishant Shakya from Kannauj, was found dead in his hostel room in Greater Noida's Knowledge Park area. His roommate discovered the body hanging from a fan after finding the door locked from the inside. Police were called to the scene, and the body was sent for post-mortem. While initial investigations suggest suicide, no suicide note was found. The student's mobile and laptop have been seized for further investigation, and his family has been informed.
