Gurgaon Techie Dies by Suicide After Jumping From Noida Building

A 28-year-old software engineer died by suicide after jumping from the 41st floor of an Airbnb in Noida's Supernova building on Saturday. Identified as Sambhav Jain, he was reportedly depressed and facing mounting debts. Police are investigating his divorce, the premature birth of his child, and associated medical expenses exceeding Rs 30 lakh. Jain had reportedly borrowed money to cover these costs. He had been staying in hotels before checking into the Airbnb alone on Friday.

शनिवार को नोएडा की सुपरनोवा बिल्डिंग में एक एयरबीएनबी से 41वीं मंजिल से कूदकर 28 वर्षीय सॉफ्टवेयर इंजीनियर ने खुदकुशी कर ली। उसकी पहचान संभव जैन के रूप में हुई है, जो कथित तौर पर अवसादग्रस्त था और बढ़ते कर्ज का सामना कर रहा था। पुलिस उसके तलाक, बच्चे के समय से पहले जन्म और 30 लाख रुपये से अधिक के संबंधित चिकित्सा खर्चों की जांच कर रही है। जैन ने कथित तौर पर इन लागतों को कवर करने के लिए पैसे उधार लिए थे। वह शुक्रवार को अकेले एयरबीएनबी में चेक इन करने से पहले होटलों में रह रहा था।
