Delhi CM Launches App and Website for Yamuna River Cleaning Campaign

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta launched the 'Swachh Yamuna Prahari' campaign and a dedicated app and website, meriyamuna.in, to involve citizens, especially youth, in cleaning the Yamuna River. The campaign aims to foster public participation alongside government efforts like tapping drains and building sewage treatment plants. Minister Pravesh Sahib Singh announced a large-scale cleaning drive. The government aims to make the Yamuna clean and pure by 2029, with construction already underway at 12 out of 22 identified locations for sewage treatment plants.

दिल्ली की मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता ने यमुना नदी को साफ करने के लिए 'स्वच्छ यमुना प्रहरी' अभियान और एक समर्पित ऐप व वेबसाइट meriyamuna.in लॉन्च किया है। इसका मकसद नागरिकों, खासकर युवाओं को यमुना की सफाई में शामिल करना है। इस अभियान का लक्ष्य सरकारी प्रयासों के साथ-साथ जनभागीदारी को भी बढ़ावा देना है, जैसे नालों को टैप करना और सीवेज ट्रीटमेंट प्लांट बनाना। मंत्री प्रवेश साहिब सिंह ने बड़े पैमाने पर सफाई अभियान की घोषणा की। सरकार का लक्ष्य 2029 तक यमुना को साफ और निर्मल बनाना है, जिसके लिए 22 चिन्हित स्थानों में से 12 पर सीवेज ट्रीटमेंट प्लांट के निर्माण का काम पहले से ही चल रहा है।
