Rouse Avenue Court Seeks Delhi Police Response on MP's Bail Plea

The Rouse Avenue Court has issued a notice to Delhi Police regarding the anticipatory bail plea of Manipur MP Bimol Akoijam in a sexual harassment case. The court extended his interim protection until November 5 and requested the police to submit the complaint filed by JNU students. Akoijam is seeking bail in an FIR registered following allegations of sexual harassment by 11 former students.

मणिपुर के MP बिमोल एकोइजम की यौन उत्पीड़न के मामले में अग्रिम ज़मानत अर्ज़ी पर रौज एवेन्यू कोर्ट ने दिल्ली पुलिस को नोटिस जारी किया है। कोर्ट ने उनकी अंतरिम सुरक्षा 5 नवंबर तक बढ़ा दी है और पुलिस से JNU छात्रों द्वारा दर्ज कराई गई शिकायत जमा करने को कहा है। एकोइजम 11 पूर्व छात्रों द्वारा यौन उत्पीड़न के आरोपों के बाद दर्ज FIR में ज़मानत मांग रहे हैं।
