BCCI Adopts MCC Rule Changes For Domestic Season

The BCCI will implement Marylebone Cricket Club rule changes starting with the 2026-27 domestic season. A key change ensures the final over of the day is completed even if a wicket falls. Bowlers deliberately bowling front-foot no-balls will face a match suspension. Declaration and forfeiture are no longer allowed in the final innings. These updates aim to modernize the game and address gendered language.

बीसीसीआई 2026-27 के घरेलू सीजन से मैरीलेबोन क्रिकेट क्लब (MCC) के नियमों में बदलाव लागू करेगा। एक बड़ा बदलाव यह है कि दिन का आखिरी ओवर तब भी पूरा होगा, भले ही विकेट गिर जाए। जानबूझकर फ्रंट-फुट नो-बॉल फेंकने वाले गेंदबाजों को मैच से निलंबित किया जाएगा। आखिरी पारी में डिक्लेरेशन और फॉरफीचर की अनुमति नहीं होगी। इन बदलावों से खेल को आधुनिक बनाने और लैंगिक भाषा को संबोधित करने का लक्ष्य है।
