Retailer Fined Rs 2.8 Lakh For Selling Expired

A consumer court in Tamil Nadu has ordered a retail giant to pay Rs 2.8 lakh to a man who suffered food poisoning after consuming expired noodles. The man had purchased the noodles from a store belonging to the retail chain. The court found the company guilty of deficiency in service and unfair trade practices.

तमिलनाडु की एक कंज्यूमर कोर्ट ने एक बड़ी रिटेल कंपनी को एक आदमी को 2.8 लाख रुपये देने का आदेश दिया है। उस आदमी को एक्सपायर्ड नूडल्स खाने से फूड पॉइजनिंग हो गई थी। उसने ये नूडल्स उसी कंपनी के स्टोर से खरीदे थे। कोर्ट ने कंपनी को सर्विस में कमी और अनुचित व्यापार प्रथाओं का दोषी पाया।
