RJD staged protests across Bihar on Friday, demanding fresh elections in five states, including Bihar and West Bengal. Party leaders alleged that the Election Commission favoured the NDA and influenced voters through electoral roll revisions and fund transfers. RJD president Lalu Prasad and working president Tejashwi Prasad Yadav called for the protests to "save the Constitution and democracy." The party seeks to cancel and rerun elections in the specified states, citing a lack of transparency and accountability in the electoral process.
