Teenager Killed, Brother Critical After Bike Hits Pickup Van in Palamu

A 15-year-old boy, Zia Ul Haque, died and his 17-year-old brother, Anwar, is in critical condition after their motorcycle collided with a pickup van on NH-39 in Palamu district. The accident occurred near Garee village when the speeding motorcycle, ridden by the minors without helmets, hit the rear of the van. Both brothers sustained severe head injuries. While Zia was declared brought dead at the hospital, Anwar was referred to a higher medical centre in Ranchi for advanced treatment.
