Manipur Security Forces Discover 27 IEDs Along 8-km Kamjong Route

Security forces in Manipur's Kamjong district have unearthed 27 improvised explosive devices (IEDs) planted along an 8-kilometer stretch. The devices were found on the Shangkhalok-Pilong route near the remote Pilong village, close to the Myanmar border. Bomb disposal teams from the Indian Army and Assam Rifles safely neutralized the explosives, which were concealed along the hilly terrain. This operation, conducted between October 4 and October 7, 2026, successfully thwarted attempts to disrupt peace and ensured safe passage for local communities.

मणिपुर के कामजोंग जिले में सुरक्षा बलों ने 8 किलोमीटर के रास्ते पर 27 इम्प्रोवाइज्ड एक्सप्लोसिव डिवाइसेस (IEDs) बरामद किए हैं। ये डिवाइस म्यांमार सीमा के पास एक सुदूर गांव पिलोंग के पास शंखलोक-पिलोंग मार्ग पर मिले थे। भारतीय सेना और असम राइफल्स की बम निरोधक टीमों ने पहाड़ी इलाके में छिपाए गए विस्फोटकों को सुरक्षित रूप से निष्क्रिय कर दिया। 4 से 7 अक्टूबर, 2026 के बीच चलाए गए इस ऑपरेशन ने शांति भंग करने के प्रयासों को सफलतापूर्वक विफल कर दिया और स्थानीय समुदायों के लिए सुरक्षित मार्ग सुनिश्चित किया।
