Kaleshwaram Barrage Repairs To Start Mid-November

Telangana government will commence repair and rehabilitation works on the Kaleshwaram project's Medigadda, Sundilla, and Annaram barrages by mid-November. The project is slated for completion by June 2027. Designs prepared by IIT Bombay and AFRY India will be submitted to the Central Water Commission technical oversight committee for approval. Tenders will be floated post-approval, with works focusing on strengthening foundations, extending downstream portions, and constructing new cutoff walls. This initiative aims to ensure the structural safety and operational reliability of the barrages.

कालेश्वरम बैराज की मरम्मत नवंबर के मध्य में शुरू होगी

तेलंगाना सरकार नवंबर के मध्य तक कालेश्वरम प्रोजेक्ट के मेडीगड्डा, सुंडिला और अन्नाराम बैराजों पर मरम्मत और पुनर्वास का काम शुरू करेगी। यह प्रोजेक्ट जून 2027 तक पूरा हो जाएगा। IIT बॉम्बे और AFRY India द्वारा तैयार किए गए डिज़ाइन को सेंट्रल वॉटर कमीशन की तकनीकी समिति के पास मंजूरी के लिए भेजा जाएगा। मंजूरी के बाद टेंडर निकाले जाएंगे, जिसमें नींव मजबूत करने, नीचे के हिस्से बढ़ाने और नई कट-ऑफ दीवारें बनाने पर ध्यान दिया जाएगा।
