A sessions court in Bengaluru has issued an interim injunction against 42 media organisations and digital platforms, preventing them from circulating two videos allegedly linking former Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to a honey-trap controversy. The videos, which surfaced last month, feature a woman alleging sexual exploitation and identifying the ex-CM as the perpetrator. The court stated that circulating the videos would cause irreparable damage to Siddaramaiah's dignity and reputation. Siddaramaiah had previously urged the public and media not to share the "false" information, expressing confidence that truth would prevail.
