Expatriate body seeks alternative to Loka Kerala Sabha

The World Kerala Muslim Cultural Centre (KMCC), representing Malayali expatriates, has urged the Kerala government to establish a transparent alternative to the Loka Kerala Sabha (LKS). KMCC president K.P. Mohammed Kutty stated that while they do not question policy decisions, the LKS, a platform for diaspora engagement, should not be scrapped without a replacement. He suggested correcting financial lapses rather than eliminating the forum that connects lakhs of Malayalis. KMCC plans to meet Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan to discuss their concerns.
