Lucknow is on high alert for dengue, malaria, and chikungunya following three days of continuous rain, which has caused waterlogging in several areas. Health officials have intensified surveillance and preventive measures across all eight zones, deploying teams to distribute medicines and raise awareness. Medical mobile units are operational, and government hospitals are prepared to manage potential increases in vector-borne diseases. Since January, the city has recorded 255 dengue, 251 malaria, and 18 chikungunya cases.
