DRDO To Transfer Missile Tech To Private Firms

DRDO has been cleared to transfer its conventional missile technology to the private sector. Indian private firms will be selected through competitive bidding to manufacture these missiles. This move aims to boost domestic defence manufacturing capabilities and reduce reliance on imports. The decision follows earlier directives for DRDO to license technologies for non-strategic missiles to private companies.

डीआरडीओ को अपनी पारंपरिक मिसाइल तकनीक निजी कंपनियों को देने की मंजूरी मिल गई है। अब भारतीय निजी कंपनियाँ बोली लगाकर इन मिसाइलों का निर्माण करेंगी। इससे देश में रक्षा उत्पादन को बढ़ावा मिलेगा और आयात पर निर्भरता कम होगी। यह फैसला डीआरडीओ के पहले के निर्देशों के बाद आया है, जिसमें गैर-रणनीतिक मिसाइलों की तकनीक निजी कंपनियों को लाइसेंस देने को कहा गया था।
