NIA Arrests 13 Over Links With Terror Outfit

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested 13 individuals across West Bengal, Assam, and Keralam for alleged links with the Imam Mahmuder Kafila (IMK), an offshoot of the banned Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh. Raids were conducted at 16 locations, leading to the arrests. The accused are suspected of expanding the IMK's ideology through religious indoctrination and digital platforms. Mobile phones and digital storage devices were seized during the operation. At least 10 accused, including nine Bangladeshis, remain at large.

नेशनल इन्वेस्टिगेशन एजेंसी (NIA) ने पश्चिम बंगाल, असम और केरल में 13 लोगों को प्रतिबंधित जमात-उल-मुजाहिदीन बांग्लादेश के एक गुट, इमाम महमोदर काफिला (IMK) से कथित तौर पर जुड़े होने के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया है। 16 जगहों पर छापेमारी के बाद ये गिरफ्तारियां हुई हैं। इन आरोपियों पर धार्मिक शिक्षा और डिजिटल प्लेटफॉर्म के जरिए IMK की विचारधारा फैलाने का शक है। छापेमारी के दौरान मोबाइल फोन और डिजिटल स्टोरेज डिवाइस जब्त किए गए। कम से कम 10 आरोपी, जिनमें नौ बांग्लादेशी नागरिक शामिल हैं, अभी भी फरार हैं।
