SC to Hear Plea on Seizing Exam Paper

The Supreme Court will hear a plea in six weeks seeking directions to confiscate the movable and immovable property of individuals involved in exam paper leak cases. Advocate Ashwini Kumar Upadhyay filed the plea, which seeks directions for assessing the entire property of perpetrators and their family members. The court had previously sought responses from the Centre and state governments on the matter. This plea aims to address the financial implications of exam paper leaks, potentially deterring future offenses by targeting offenders' assets.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट छह हफ़्तों में एक याचिका पर सुनवाई करेगा। इसमें परीक्षा पेपर लीक में शामिल लोगों की चल-अचल संपत्ति ज़ब्त करने के निर्देश मांगे गए हैं। वकील अश्विनी कुमार उपाध्याय ने यह याचिका दायर की है। इसमें दोषियों और उनके परिवार की पूरी संपत्ति का आकलन करने की मांग की गई है। कोर्ट पहले केंद्र और राज्य सरकारों से जवाब मांग चुका है। इसका मकसद पेपर लीक से होने वाले आर्थिक नुकसान को रोकना है।
