A neurosurgeon has clarified the distinction between sinusitis and cluster headaches, noting that many patients are misdiagnosed and treated for sinus issues without relief. Cluster headaches, a neurological disorder, present with severe pain around or behind one eye, often accompanied by a watering, red eye, drooping eyelid, and nasal congestion on the same side. Unlike migraine sufferers who seek stillness, individuals experiencing cluster headaches exhibit restlessness, pacing, or pressing on the eye.

एक न्यूरोसर्जन ने साइनसाइटिस और क्लस्टर सिरदर्द के बीच अंतर को स्पष्ट किया है। उन्होंने बताया कि कई मरीज़ गलत तरीके से साइनस की समस्या का इलाज कराते हैं और उन्हें राहत नहीं मिलती। क्लस्टर सिरदर्द एक न्यूरोलॉजिकल डिसऑर्डर है, जिसमें एक आंख के आसपास या पीछे तेज दर्द होता है। इसके साथ ही उसी तरफ आंख से पानी आना, लाल होना, पलक का गिरना और नाक बंद होना जैसे लक्षण भी दिखते हैं। माइग्रेन के मरीज़ जहां शांति चाहते हैं, वहीं क्लस्टर सिरदर्द से पीड़ित लोग बेचैन रहते हैं, वे चलते-फिरते हैं या आंख पर दबाव डालते हैं।
