HC orders Telangana govt to file affidavit

The Telangana High Court has ordered the State government to file a counter affidavit within two weeks regarding a writ petition. The petition was filed by a BDS degree holder who claims he was wrongly treated as a non-local candidate for MDS admissions for the 2026-27 academic year. The petitioner, a Scheduled Tribe member from Warangal district, was granted a scholarship by the Telangana government for his BDS studies in Andhra Pradesh.
