August IPOs Deliver Over 100% Listing Gains

August saw exceptional performance in the primary market, with IPOs achieving over 100 per cent listing gains. This surge coincided with a significant expansion of the retail investor base on the NSE, which grew by approximately 16.5 per cent to 1.5 million new registrations in August. West India, particularly Gujarat, led this growth, with Gujarat overtaking Uttar Pradesh as the largest source of new investors.

अगस्त में प्राइमरी मार्केट में कमाल का प्रदर्शन रहा। IPOs ने 100% से ज़्यादा लिस्टिंग गेन दिया। इसी दौरान NSE पर रिटेल निवेशकों की संख्या भी काफी बढ़ी। अगस्त में करीब 16.5% की बढ़ोतरी के साथ 1.5 मिलियन नए रजिस्ट्रेशन हुए। गुजरात, जो पश्चिम भारत में है, इस ग्रोथ में सबसे आगे रहा। गुजरात अब उत्तर प्रदेश को पीछे छोड़कर नए निवेशकों का सबसे बड़ा स्रोत बन गया है।
