Yes Bank Shares Jump On UPI Charge Benefit

Yes Bank shares surged over 4% on Wednesday, with brokerages like Citi and Morgan Stanley identifying the lender as a key beneficiary of new UPI charges. These charges, effective October 15, will apply a Merchant Discount Rate on select Person-to-Merchant UPI transactions above Rs 2,000. Citi highlighted Yes Bank's significant share in UPI beneficiary volume, potentially amplifying earnings from UPI monetisation. Other banks may see smaller profit boosts.

बुधवार को Yes Bank के शेयर 4% से ज़्यादा चढ़ गए। Citi और Morgan Stanley जैसी ब्रोकरेज फर्मों का मानना है कि 15 अक्टूबर से लागू होने वाले नए UPI चार्ज से Yes Bank को सबसे ज़्यादा फ़ायदा होगा। 2,000 रुपये से ज़्यादा के कुछ Person-to-Merchant UPI ट्रांज़ैक्शन पर Merchant Discount Rate लगेगा। Citi ने कहा कि UPI में Yes Bank की बड़ी हिस्सेदारी है, जिससे उसकी कमाई बढ़ सकती है।
