India's Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) has issued a high-level security warning regarding vulnerabilities in Tata Motors' connected vehicle apps, iRA 2.0 and iRA.ev. These apps, used for remote control and monitoring of petrol, diesel, and electric vehicles, have flaws that could allow hackers to gain access to critical credentials and vehicle services. The warning specifically applies to iRA 2.0 versions 26.73 and below, and iRA.ev versions 26.72 and below. CERT-In advises consumers to update their car's software to mitigate these risks.
