Police in Palani, Tamil Nadu, have claimed that two minor boys playfully placed fecal matter into an overhead drinking water tank at a government primary school. The incident was discovered on October 5 when the school reopened after quarterly vacation. The headmaster reported the contamination, leading to a police investigation. Preliminary findings suggest the act was an act of childish mischief by 11 and 12-year-old boys playing Kabaddi. Further steps will be decided in consultation with the District Collector and School Education Department.

तमिलनाडु के पलानी में पुलिस ने दावा किया है कि दो नाबालिग लड़कों ने मजे-मजे में सरकारी प्राइमरी स्कूल के पीने के पानी के ओवरहेड टैंक में मल डाल दिया। यह घटना 5 अक्टूबर को पता चली जब स्कूल छुट्टियों के बाद फिर से खुला। हेडमास्टर ने गंदगी की सूचना दी, जिसके बाद पुलिस जांच शुरू हुई। शुरुआती जांच में पता चला कि यह 11 और 12 साल के लड़कों का कबड्डी खेलते हुए बचकाना शरारत का काम था। आगे की कार्रवाई डिस्ट्रिक्ट कलेक्टर और स्कूल शिक्षा विभाग से सलाह के बाद तय की जाएगी।
