Former Deputy Chief Minister Peedika Rajanna Dora of the YSR Congress Party has accused the Telugu Desam Party and its allies of widespread money distribution during the Salur civic body polls. He alleged that the district administration colluded with ruling party leaders in Parvatipuram Manyam district. Dora stated that election officials and special squads failed to prevent violations of the election code, including money distribution near polling booths. Despite these alleged irregularities, he expressed confidence that the YSRCP would win the chairperson's seat and a majority of wards in Salur.

वाईएसआर कांग्रेस पार्टी के पूर्व उप मुख्यमंत्री पीडिका राजन्ना डोरा ने तेलुगु देशम पार्टी और उसके सहयोगियों पर सलूर नगर निकाय चुनावों के दौरान बड़े पैमाने पर पैसे बांटने का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि परबतपुरम मन्यम जिले में जिला प्रशासन सत्ताधारी पार्टी के नेताओं के साथ मिला हुआ था। डोरा ने कहा कि चुनाव अधिकारियों और विशेष दलों ने मतदान केंद्रों के पास पैसे बांटने सहित चुनाव संहिता के उल्लंघन को रोकने में विफल रहे। इन कथित अनियमितताओं के बावजूद, उन्होंने विश्वास व्यक्त किया कि वाईएसआरसीपी सलूर में अध्यक्ष पद और अधिकांश वार्डों में जीत हासिल करेगी।
