Times of India - India · india

Vasant Bhatt, a 21-year-old Indian-American student, claims he was terminated from Campus Reform, a conservative news website, after voting for a Democrat candidate. Bhatt stated he exercised his constitutional right and spoke out against anti-Indian bigotry. He had previously announced his vote for Democrat James Talarico against Republican Ken Paxton, urging Texans to reject anti-India hatred. Bhatt, a political science student and activist, previously interned for Ted Cruz but found his relationship with the Republican party changed due to xenophobic rhetoric.
