Abishek Porel has been included in the Bengal senior men's squad for practice matches against Assam in Guwahati. This selection marks his return to the state team following legal proceedings. Porel, who plays for Delhi Capitals in the IPL, has not competed since the end of IPL 2026. He was arrested on August 11 in connection with allegations of rape and other sexual offences filed on June 30. The Cricket Association of Bengal announced the squad on Tuesday.
