Supreme Court Cancels NSA Detention of Sambhal Accused

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने संभल हिंसा मामले के आरोपी मुल्ला अफरोज की NSA हिरासत को रद्द कर दिया है। कोर्ट ने उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार पर ₹10 लाख का जुर्माना भी लगाया है। अफरोज, जो 42 साल का अनाज व्यापारी है, को जनवरी 2025 में गिरफ्तार किया गया था, जो चार लोगों की जान लेने वाली हिंसा के लगभग 55 दिन बाद हुआ था। कोर्ट ने NSA के तहत निवारक हिरासत के आधार के रूप में पुलिस हिरासत में दिए गए कबूलनामे की वैधता पर सवाल उठाया। इस फैसले से ऐसे सबूतों के आधार पर NSA के आवेदन पर सवाल उठते हैं।
