कांग्रेस पार्टी की केरल इकाई ने चीफ जस्टिस ऑफ इंडिया (CJI) से इस्तीफे की मांग करने वाली सोशल मीडिया पोस्ट के साथ राजनीतिक विवाद खड़ा कर दिया है। पोस्ट में कहा गया था कि अगर कानून और व्यवस्था सीजेआई के अधिकार क्षेत्र में नहीं है, तो उन्हें पद छोड़ देना चाहिए। यह पोस्ट बाद में हटा दी गई थी। बीजेपी ने पोस्ट की कड़ी निंदा करते हुए कांग्रेस पर सीजेआई को धमकी देने और न्यायिक संस्थानों को कमजोर करने की कोशिश करने का आरोप लगाया। SCBA ने भी सीजेआई के इस्तीफे की मांग करने वाले सोशल मीडिया बयानों की निंदा की और ऐसी मांगों की गंभीरता पर प्रकाश डाला।
