Shoppers sought new clothes, jewellery, vehicles, and puja materials, with traders reporting brisk business. Sales of flowers, fruits, and vegetables saw an increase, though prices for some items like marigolds rose. Furniture and clothing stores also offered discounts for the festive season. The surge in shoppers led to increased vehicular traffic and parking difficulties in the city.
