Varun Beverages Shares Dip 5% Despite Strong Q3 Profit Growth
Business Standard · stocks
Varun Beverages Ltd (VBL), PepsiCo's largest franchise bottler, saw its shares fall by 5% following the announcement of its Q3CY26 earnings. The company reported a nearly 14% rise in net profit to ₹830.6 crore, driven by robust double-digit volume growth in both India and international markets. Revenue from operations increased by 33.3% to ₹6,815.58 crore. Despite the profit jump, the stock declined due to a contraction in EBITDA margin, primarily caused by higher packaging material costs and geopolitical disruptions impacting gross margins.
