Nine Dead After AC Spark Ignites Sleeper Bus

Nine people died when a sleeper bus carrying 35 passengers caught fire in Greater Noida on Wednesday night. The blaze reportedly started due to a spark or blast in the air-conditioning system, causing engine oil to ignite and flames to spread rapidly. The bus was travelling from Noida to Mahoba when the incident occurred around 11 pm on the Yamuna Expressway. Passengers alerted the driver upon noticing a burning smell, but the fire escalated quickly.
