UP Voter List Error: Ramhit Yadav's Name Becomes 'Ram Killed Yadav'

The Election Commission has clarified errors in Uttar Pradesh's voter list, where Ramhit Yadav's name was mistranslated by software to 'Ram Killed Yadav'. Another entry mistakenly listed 'B Com' as a voter's father's name. These errors occurred during the first-time online registration for the Legislative Council elections, when English names were converted to Hindi. Out of 14,81,310 entries, 158 had such glitches, with a separate case in Pilibhit involving 10,470 entries leading to action against officials.
