मेजर ऋषभ सिंह सम्ब्याल, जो राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू के पूर्व Aide-de-Camp (ADC) रह चुके हैं, ने 30 साल की उम्र में सेना से रिटायर होने का फैसला किया है। उन्होंने इसके पीछे निजी और पारिवारिक कारण बताए हैं। उनका कहना है कि उनकी ज़िंदगी ऐसे मोड़ पर आ गई है जहाँ परिवार, निजी फैसले और भविष्य को और टाला नहीं जा सकता। ADC की भूमिका में लगातार सतर्कता और सख्त प्रोटोकॉल के कारण निजी जीवन और रिश्तों के लिए समय नहीं मिल पाता था।
