Aztec Manuscript Returns to Mexico on Loan

The Azcatitlan Codex, a significant 16th-century Aztec manuscript, has returned to Mexico on loan from France after two centuries. It is now on display at the National Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City until December. The codex, featuring vibrant pictograms, chronicles the Aztec capital's founding and its fall after Spanish arrival. Mexican officials stated the exhibition aims to reunite the population with its collective memory and ancestral history.
