MHA Asks States To Use Facial Recognition

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has directed states and union territories to implement facial recognition, cyber surveillance, and real-time alerts to combat human trafficking. New guidelines recommend forming joint investigation teams for cross-border cases and monitoring overseas recruitment scams. States are urged to use the National Automated Facial Recognition System (NAFRS) and enhance cyber patrolling to identify grooming patterns and fraudulent job offers.

गृह मंत्रालय (MHA) ने राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों को मानव तस्करी रोकने के लिए फेशियल रिकग्निशन, साइबर निगरानी और रियल-टाइम अलर्ट लागू करने का निर्देश दिया है। नई गाइडलाइंस में सीमा पार के मामलों के लिए संयुक्त जांच दल बनाने और विदेशी भर्ती घोटालों पर नजर रखने की सलाह दी गई है। राज्यों से NAFRS का उपयोग करने और ग्रूमिंग पैटर्न व धोखाधड़ी वाली नौकरी की पेशकशों की पहचान के लिए साइबर गश्त बढ़ाने का आग्रह किया गया है।
